Création d’une section thématique sur les espèces exotiques envahissantes (Niger)

The objectif of the grant was to add information to the CHM on the theme of exotic and invasive species. This is done in order to :

  • give information to the policy makers about the concerned species;
  • Share the experiences in fighting invasive species;  
  • Inform about possible uses towards protecting biodiversity through valorisation;
  • Help the authorities to formulate programmes to fight against the water-hyacinthAider les décideurs dans la formulation des programmes en matière de lutte contre la jacinthe d’eau  et dans les prises de décisions.

The results of the project are available on the CHM of Niger (animals and plants).
