Behavioural science as a power for good! Exploring human-centred evidence for healthy and sustainable agrifood systems

Status

Behavioural Science (BeSci) refers to the discipline of understanding human behaviour and decision making. It helps identify barriers to taking action, understand enablers for achieving goals, and design more impactful programmes and projects.

The Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) has been actively exploring BeSci as a tool to contribute to agrifood system transformation and help stakeholders embrace healthier, more sustainable choices.

During this FAO Brussels Briefing on Better Life, organized by the FAO Liaison Office with the European Union and the Kingdom of Belgium, we will explore and learn more about the exciting potential of Behavioral Science in transforming our agrifood systems!
