Publication of the Belgian national reports to the Convention on Biological Diversity and its Protocols

Belgium has officially published its national reports to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and its Protocols in the Online Reporting Tool. The reports were published on the 28th of February 2026, the deadline for the reports, and they will be taken into account by the Secretariat of the CBD while preparing the next Global report on the state of Biodiversity. This Global report is foreseen towards October 2026.

The the 6th national report for the CBD was published in 2018.
