Eighth session of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services

Registrations and abstract submissions for the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in the Congo Basin are now open!  With great pleasure we would like to invite you at the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in the Congo Basin, which will take place on March 6-10, 2023 in Kisangani, DR Congo.

The European Commission, the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and the Wildlife Conservation Society are pleased to invite you to a conference on 'Scaling up EU Impact to Combat Wildlife Trafficking - Renewing commitment through the revised EU Action Plan against Wildlife Trafficking 2022 - 2027'.

Four briefing webinars are planned as follows:

• Briefing Webinar 1 on Tuesday, 19 January 2021. SBI 3 agenda item 5: relating to the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework process.

• Briefing Webinar 2 on Thursday, 21 January 2021. SBI 3 agenda item 9: on enhancing reporting and review

In the run-up to the IUCN Local Action Summit (September 3rd 2021 in Marseille), 4 closed webinars will be held by IUCN. More information here.
