News Yearly competitions 2012-2013 of the Royal Academy for Overseas Sciences are now open

Each year the Royal Academy of Overseas Sciences organises a competition for its prices to stimulate high-quality scientific research regarding problems inherent to overseas regions. Each award-winning work in the yearly competition is granted a prize of 1,000 EUR.

The three Sections of the Academy, namely Section 1: Human Sciences, Section 2: Natural and Medical Sciences, and Section 3: Applied Sciences, put two questions forward on specific subjects. This gives a total of six topics open for competition. The subjects for 2012 are now known and published on the Academies site.

Some subjects for the 2013 call are also known and posted on the same site.
