CHM workshop in Lomé, Togo
From 2 to 5 May 2017, 25 participants from French speaking African partner countries of the Belgian CHM network met in Lomé, Togo, to discuss former activities and plan future activities in the use of the CHM as the main tool to share progress made in the implementation of the CBD at a national and sub-regional level.
|Geographical coverage||Western Africa,|
The objectives of the meeting were to:
- share the outcomes of the last COP meeting (COP13 in Cancun, Mexico, in December 2016)
- train the participants in the use of the logical framework to write project proposals
- present the ‘Bioland’ tool, the new CMS that will replace the PTK in the near future
- prepare future calls for proposals (awareness).
2 participants from CEBioS (H de Koeijer & M-L Susini Ondafe) and one participant from the CBD Secretariat, Alexandre Rafalovitch) were present to facilitate the workshop.
All the relevant documentation (presentations, programme, list of participants,...) is available online on the section dedicated to CHM cooperation on the Belgian CHM website here.
